Wow Good application video but….Hair extensions really only damage the hair when they are removed improperly. Like using Acetone is really not good for the hair, it drys the hair out immensely. Pliers are not great either
For keratin bonds just use the Take Down Remover for hair extensions and the fusion flat iron to melt the bond-it slips right out!
Take Down gets all the glue residue off the roots of your hair and it softens your roots if they are matted from oil or lint build-up.

i did my keratin extension on July 3rd 2011, but the lady told me that there’s a special shampoo and mask to use for a month for the extension to be strong and not fall soon, if i didn’t use it, is my extension gonna fall in a month???!!.. cuz it’s not that cheap to do

@toxicbutterscotch All hair extensions damage hair, this is the form of hair extensions with the least amount of damage. you can keep these in for 3-4 months. you can do them yourself, but it would take longer and it would be difficult doing your back of your head. no, it’s premium hair. they look the most natural out of all hair extensions. if you have thin hair, 100. if you have thick hair, 200. for any hair extensions it’s 3 inches, always get your hair layered to blend in with your hair. no.

QUESTION…..i’ve seen some stylists use like some kind of wax paper of something to roll the bond….is it recommended to use that paper thing or is it ok with ANY type of bond to just use ur fingers ?

I am thinking about having hair extensions soon. i have curly hair that i always always straighten using a flat iron…if i use a flat iron with the extensions, you think that would work? does heat damage the extension’s glue part (the bond)??

I took SO SO long to find nice micro-rings aswell. For those of u who asked where else to get good extensions, i’d recommend this online store- vainhairextensions . com. Mine from there were pretty cheap and have lasted me 6 MONTHS so far! they supply to salons so I knew they were good quality!

i have very thick hair and its just under my ears, im buying some on ebay ive been told 200 strands will do, do u think that will be right, im having a go at doing it myself, i dont wanna be left with half my head not done, it cant be that hard to do urself, im sure its frustrating but its possible.

@harrks Yes of course, it’s 100% human euro-remy hair, grade A. Be careful of what’s out there, factories are so cut-throat these days that they’re mixing animal hair with human hair and calling it 100% human hair, which is not right.
would you be able to perm your hair with micro-cylinders?
My hairstylist told me this would be the cheapest form of perminant hair extensions, but i should buy the hair myself because it would be cheaper, should i buy those single hair strand packs?
It’s a fairly popular method so I’m sure you can find a salon that does something similar , but unfortunately we don’t have an official NHS branch in Chicago.

Yes if someone runs their fingers through the back of your head and nape close to the scalp, they’ll most definitely feel them. But like I described in the comment below, if you want to avoid such a situation please look into our micro-thread hair extensions method. Click on our name and view our other videos for more info!
They also come in aluminum, but to answer your question we have not heard of any complaints about the airport beep, but it is possible. Safety wise there has been no media records of causing you any harm. Also for a gentler method, I recommend you watch our video on the micro-thread method. It’s less intrusive and perfect for clients with low density and thinning hair.
Yes you’re right, although with our quality hair it lasts a bit longer than what you described. If the customer is good with maintenance and the upkeep of the hair, 18 months is do-able.
if u run ur fingers through ur hair, would u be able to feel the little tubes?
since these are copper can you walk through those airport security machines without having it beep? Also, is it safe? No health effects of having them on your head for months?
It’s unfortunate you went through that experience Elle, but at NHS we use premium brand where the hairs don’t fall out as easily.

it depends on the type of the hair. But it’ll be about a few months. If you buy good quality hair and treat them gently they could survive even 18 months, but the average is 2-5 months. (sorry about my english,im from poland)
i had mine put in from October to December, so i never had a chance to go swimming with them

but when my hair was wet, they were very visible. also they do fall out quite easily and you have to keep putting them back in

They’re not normal pliers like you can buy in a hardware store. If you use normal ones it’s difficult to remove the ring and you’ll probably end up just scratching the paint off it, making it visible in your hair!
You need to be gentler with your hair but you’d have to be really rough to pull one out!
I recommend buying a brush called “tangle teezer” – you can get it on ebay – it’s amazing for extensions.
