Lampwork beads:
You need a flameworking torch, bead mandrels, bead separators, something to anneal them, and glass rods. Dip your mandrels in the separator–let them dry. Slowly heat the mandrel and the glass, then wrap the glass around the mandrel. Once you have your bead, place the bead (still on mandrel) in your annealing kiln-whatever. Remove when cool.
This is just a basic overview–I recommend Making Glass Beads, by Cindy Jenkins if you really want to do it.
Jewelry with no fee:
pretty much anywhere you go, you’ll have to pay some sort of fee, even if you go the craft fair route.
